Project On-Track Tutor - Certified & Non-Certified CHES & SES
Grant funded part-time year to year position.
Reports To:
Director of Schools and the Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Certified
BS Degree and/or
Tennessee Teaching License or Eligible for Tennessee Teaching License
- Non- Certified
High School Diploma or GED OR
Bachelor's Degree
Purpose Statement:
To deliver targeted tutoring instruction to students during the school day using researched based programs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct small group tutoring sessions using research-based programs with fidelity.
- Prepare lesson materials and review upcoming lessons before the tutoring session.
- Supervise students in your small groups and while working on the digital platforms associated with the program.
- Administer benchmark assessments and progress monitoring with fidelity.
- Keep personal time sheets and records required of the program.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for all tutoring sessions.
- Maintain academic records accurately and confidentially.
- Attend all required training sessions.
- Turn in paperwork requested in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain materials and supplies so they are easily accessible.
- Follow assigned weekly schedule, notifying Administrators, Site Coordinators, and Instructional Coordinator of any absences.
Capacity and Ability Requirements:
The usual job demands requires the following physical requirements: some lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, some stooping, kneeling, and physical dexterity.
Terms of Employment:
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
